Getting Plugged In
Well, here I am writing from the US of A as a resident instead of a visitor. I’m enjoying all kinds of new experiences:
- A new country. The US is very similar to Canada actually.
- A new town. Going from pop. 70,000 to 15,000 is actually a big difference for me.
- A new driver’s license. I have to take all the tests over again like a new driver.
- A new bank. Actually, I like the financial services available to Americans better than the ones we had in Canada.
- A new home. Definitely different, very comfortable, the largest property I’ve lived at in ten years.
- New shopping outlets to price out. I hate shopping if anyone wonders.
- Hopefully a new job soon.
- The same church. I wouldn’t want that to have changed
That’s just a partial list. An international move is definitely an experience to be remembered.
