- God created the world.
- God created man in His image.
- Man sinned against God.
- God in His justness had to punish man with death; God in His mercy provided a way of escape.
- That way of escape is Jesus, the son of God and son of man.
- Jesus came to earth as a man, lived the perfect example for Christians to follow, and died in the place of man so that after man dies physically, he can spend eternity in Heaven with God.
- Man is responsible to make a choice.
- Believe God and His Word as Truth, repent of anything that is against God’s Will (sin), ask Jesus for salvation, and live in obedience to God in everything for His glory and the furtherance of His Kingdom. In this way, you will find perfect joy and fulfillment in life.
- Reject God’s Word as a myth, an invention or “just another religion”, live life in disobedience to God and obedience to selfish desires and Satan, and face the reality of the second death in Hell.
Which way will you go? There are only two choices. Still confused? Read the Bible through, ask God to reveal himself to you, find a Christian to talk to and go to a solid Bible-based church. One thing about Christianity is, you will never understand it fully until you take the plunge and become a Christian yourself. If you truly experience salvation, you will never want to go back.
